FlashRunner LAN 2.0 NXG, as the name suggests, is the NXG generation of SMH's flagship FlashRunner 2.0 technology. It is dedicated to the most popular group of users who program devices in medium-sized volumes using the ISP method, it means devices already mounted in the target system, and who want to integrate this operation as a part of the process of automatic testing of already assembled PCBs.
Comparing to FlashRunner 2.0 products, the NXG generation devices are characterized by:
- Unified, one (no other hardware options) universal central unit;
- Programable setting/upgrade of the number of parallel channels in the range from 1 to 4;
- Built-in USB and LAN network interface enabling remote control of the programming process;
- Higher integration level and therefore compact size;
- Easier integration into ATE testers;
FlashRunner LAN 2.0 NXG supports devices manufactured by a wide range of semiconductor vendors. Programming Algorithms are not included in the price and has to be purchased separately.
FlashRunner LAN 2.0 NXG has following hardware features:
- Compact size (142 x 17.6 x 70 mm) and easy integration with automatic testers;
- Over 6,000 supported devices - regular updates;
- Support for most ISP protocols (BDM, JTAG, SPI, I2C, MON, ICC, SCI, UART, ...);
- Up to 4 parallel and independent programming channels;
- 2 DIN 48-pin connectors
- 8 digital I/O lines for each channel; signaling diode for each channel;
- 2 programmable voltage outputs;
- Measurement and control of programming voltages/currents in individual channels;
- Ethernet LAN (up to 1Gb / s) and optocoupled USB interface;
- Standalone mode (with fixture interface) and supervised via LAN or USB port;
- Control for optional relay barriers;
- Memory buffer up to 256 GB;
- Clock/Calendar for log registration;
- eMMC and NAND Flash memory support;
FlashRunner LAN 2.0 NXG has following software features:
- Linux Embedded based operating system.
- Open API interface allowing full integration with user software and testers such as LabView © and Visual C / C ++.
- New comfortable GUI FlashRunner 2.0 WorkBench graphical interface, which simplifies configuration and setting parameters, project management, etc.
- Supervision from PC in terminal mode and ASCII protocol
